Poetry collection: Love and other abstract things

***This is not Haiku. Haiku is 5-7-5, first line with five syllables, second line with seven, third line with five again. Sorry for the wrong photos.***

These are still haiku. It doesn’t matter these days how many syllables you have. Technically, the 5-7-5 syllables apply to the original HAIKU poems, i.e. in Japanese/Nihonggo. It is also acceptable to have any lengths if we’re talking about the “accented” syllables whence you can apply the 3-5-3 rule. 🙂

    • Oh wow. It makes sense since Japanese language has a pure vowel system. Thank you mam Tet for the info! 🙂
